Contained in these pages is my collection of My Little Ponies. Although I only actively collect G1 ponies, I keep all other generations that I find. Being only 3 when the first My Little Pony line came out, I think of all of my fondest memories of childhood with My Little Ponies. I grew up receiving My Little Ponies as birthday and Christmas presents. I could always tell it was a pony because of the unmistakable shape of the MOC package - flat with a pony-shaped bubble! The boxes were a little harder to guess sometimes but they were all rectangular in shape. Is it a princess pony, or a baby set? Rip the paper off and find out!
I do have a tragic tale to my pony collection... Throughout my pony receiving days, we had moved 6 times and my ponies were with me every time, but upon the 7th move - everything changed. My sister and I, whose collections were stored together, didn't notice at first. I guess maybe because she was going off to college and I was busy with High School and wanted to keep our ponies safe in their boxes. A great portion of our ponies simply vanished on the last move :O I know this because we kept extremely accurate records of them. Name, description, when we got them, accessories. Everything! I cannot be certain of my sister's but I can be sure that 18 of my ponies, Slumber Party Gift Pack and Baby Bonnet School of Dance play set, along with MOST of our accessories just disappeared.
I have spent the last 20 years trying to track down the lost items to replace for my collection. It has not been easy to get them (although most were extremely common ponies :P ) but I have made great friends along my journey that have help me, as well as, laughed and cried with me and I still have a long way to go
Now that the Internet is such a great source for Vintage ponies, I can make my collection grow and grow! Please enjoy and feel free to ask questions.
I have been doing a lot of tinkering with this site and have added my G3s, my Customs and my pony Wish List. Any ponies I have for sale or trade are located on my For Sale/Trade page.
Moondancer's MLPs is my older sister's collection.
Baby Sugarberry's MLPs is my daughter's collection.
I have gotten totally behind on my accurate counts :( Sorry
My Current total for ponies is:
G1: 260 loose, 15 MIB/MIP/MOC, 1 Megan, plus 5 custom ponies, 1 Perm Shoppe and 1 MOC quartz pony watch
G2: 3 ponies
G3: 102 loose, 13 MIB/MIP/MOC
G3.5: 3 ponies
G4: 6 loose, 50 MIB ponies
I am in the process of creating all of the My Little Pony images I'm using from backcards. As I do not own the original image (Hasbro does) please feel free to use them but please give credit to my site. See them HERE. I worked a long time to create them.
